What is IPEN?

The International Positive Education Network (IPEN) aims to bring together teachers, students, parents, higher education, charities, companies and governments to promote positive education. Our goals are to support collaboration as well as change education practice that will also lead to a reform in government policy. The network has three main purposes:

Reform Policy Image.png

We aim to persuade policymakers to change their policy frameworks so that practitioners are encouraged to educate for character and well-being alongside delivering rigorous and stretching academic study based on the best evidence-based research.

Change Education Practice.png

We aim to equip practitioners with the educational tools they need to start delivering positive education in the classroom by providing them with evidence-based curricula, teacher training, development programs and assessment tools .

We plan to create a growing community of positive educators who will collaborate with one another to develop a deeper understanding of the theory and practice of positive education by offering free membership and access to a vast online community as well as biannual conferences.
